Adaptation of MEDiterranean Economies to Environmental Stresses (AMEDEES - AMIDEX project) (WP3)
Description
This project is at the interface of several disciplines like climatology, archeology, ecology, geography, agronomy, economics, etc. The main objective is to understand the relations between environmental changes and human and historical dynamics. This includes the construction, in collaboration with other researchers, of an agent-based model to a better understanding of the man/environment interactions. More particularly, this diachronic project explores the abilities of past societies to adapt their socio-economical strategies and to manage their natural resources.
