The OT-Med call for projects 2015 was launched on December 12, 2014. This call included: collaborative projects, postdoctoral and PhD fellowships, support to mobility (incoming and outgoing) and scientific events. The deadline was February 5, 2015. OT-Med received 20 proposals of scientific projects (2 of them were not eligible), 4 proposals of scientific events and 1 demand for support to mobility.
At least two external reviewers were nominated to evaluate each eligible scientific project. The selection of the funded projects was done on Friday, April 10, 2015 by the OT-Med Management Board :
The total budget of submitted proposals was of about 4646 k€. About 2393 k€ were requested from OT-Med. A total amount of 538 K€ was attributed (62 K€ for operating expenses, 130 K€ for PhD theses and 346 K€ for postdocs).

GENERAL INFORMATION
Figure 1 (here below) shows the distribution of the rejected and accepted projects versus the laboratory (non-eligible projects are not included in this figure). The laboratory of the PI and in some cases of the co-PI was scored as one and the other participating laboratories were scored as 0.5. Three laboratories have a score of accepted projects of 2.5 or more (CEREGE, MIO and IMBE). They correspond also to the highest score of submitted projects (more than six) and are also the biggest labs of OT-Med. The contribution to MISTRALS appears to be a strong criterion for acceptance (six out of seven projects contributing to MISTRALS have been accepted). All the projects included natural sciences. In four of them social and human sciences (SHS) also played an important role and two of them have been accepted.
