One 9-month « Fernand Braudel » post-doctoral fellowship on interdisciplinary global change studies co-funded by Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme (FMSH, Paris) (Europe Co-Fund program) and OT-Med has been attributed in June 2013. OT-Med received four candidatures. One of them was not admissible. The candidate selected by the independent jury was Constantin Athanassas, who proposed the postdoctoral project: " Outlining the “battleground of the Titans”: assessing the impact of the Minoan volcanic eruption of Santorini, Aegean, on the Bronze Age civilizations of the Eastern Mediterranean through state-of-the-art geochronological techniques " under the supervision of D. Bourles (CEREGE).
